AHTC’s 80 days around the world

Just how long is required to fix the mess over at Aljunied Hougang Town Council (AHTC)? Their account – according to KPMG, still has audit points not resolved since last report.

Workers’ Party only managed to resolve 17 out of 71 of the control failures identified by KPMG. More statistics here, of more than 1,000,000 transactions in 18 temporary accounts to be cleared, AHTC had cleared only 599.

What a major headache, how bloody long is the required time to fix the account? Jules Verne’s Phileas Fogg took 80 days to travel around the world, we don’t know how long dear WP has taken.

Maybe they have been listening to “To the moon and back”, thus taking a tad longer!

And if you have not realized, classic WP tactics involve harping on other “issue” to take the limelight away. They have been quietly hiding behind the proposed changes to the Elected Presidency (EP), and also suggested to do away with the EP.

We don’t know what WP is thinking. Just fix the bloody account yeah? Answer to your residents!
